The Urban Oasis: Push Hands, BellyDance & Ivorian

12pm Ilona Bito starts our journey with a grounding session of Push Hands, a Tai Chi practice focusing on sensitivity, balance, martial skill, and mental focus. 1:30pm, join Jaida for Belly Dancing core strengthening basics, enhancing posture, digestion, and balance while celebrating femininity and spiritual unity. At 3pm, immerse yourself in Vado's exhilarating Ivory Coast dance class, exploring ethnic dance, traditions and vibrant rhythms.

The Heartbeat: QiGong, Samba & Drumming

Join us for a vibrant celebration of rhythm, movement, and culture at DuYe Moves. Begin your day 12pm with Chicava's invigorating Qigong class, harmonizing mind, body, and spirit under the sun. At 1:30pm be ready to get high energy in Samba class with Quenia, exploring its roots and various styles, from Samba No Pé to Samba Afro. Then, learn to drum Brazilian Samba beats with Batalá, learning percussion techniques and immersing yourself in Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Experience the rich traditions of Brazil in a day of connection, celebration, and joyful movement!

The Opening Groove: QiGong, Afro’Dance & Sabar

Starting at 12pm, Chicava leads invigorating Qigong, harmonizing mind, body, and spirit. Then, at 1:30pm, Shari ignites Afro’Dance, celebrating self-expression and community through vibrant rhythms. At 3pm, Babacar M’Baye leads an exhilarating Sabar dance, exploring Senegal’s elegant movements. Let's kickstart the sunny season together with dance, culture, and connection!

The Joyful Beat: QiGong, Afro’Dance & Sabar

A mid summer day of rhythm, culture, and movement at DuYe Moves on Colonels Row. Begin at 12pm with Sharon's transformative QiGong class, nurturing vitality and inner peace through gentle movements rooted in Taoist healing arts. At 1:30pm, join Angel Kaba for Afro'Dance, a fusion of African rhythms and street dance styles. Finally at 3pm, get into the vibrant tradition of Sabar with Ousmane. A dynamic warm-up, lively choreography with live drumming. Join us for a day of joyous celebration through movement and music!
